Serving Angels Media was founded in February 2009 by Betrice Coleman-Sweet, initially launching with "The Celebration of Life for philanthropist Stan 'Unc' Sanders," Co-Founder of The Kierrah Foundation. Betrice's relationship with the Kierrah Foundation began in 2007 when she was hired as their publicist after writing the first published article about the organization, which provided resources for former foster young women and their children. This early work was guided by the mentorship of businesswoman and community leader Kim Anthony-Marrow of Urban Excellence Inc.

In 2020, Betrice's partner and spouse, Bea Sweet, officially joined Serving Angels Media as Vice-President. Bea's extensive experience in workshop and curriculum development, coupled with over 20 years in youth coaching, has significantly expanded Serving Angels Media's capabilities, enabling the firm to empower youth and leaders to achieve their fullest potential in serving others.
